Susan LaGrone is the co-founder and inspiration behind Redspur. She grew up in West Texas in a close-knit family and community, where she developed her core values of authenticity, loyalty, and hard work—values for which she remains forever thankful.

Following the example set by her parents, Susan adopted a hard-working, DIY mentality. Her passion for buying and selling began with her mother, who often took her to estate and garage sales. Susan quickly learned the art of spotting treasures, which she would refinish to either keep or resell. While raising her sons, she combined her love for decorating and fashion with buying and selling, much like her mother, tackling project after project, always out there searching for the next treasure. 

Through Redspur, Susan hopes to bring together people like her family and community—those who appreciate a good deal or wish to offer one to hard-working families.

Born in Amarillo, Texas, Susan now resides outside of Nashville, TN, with her husband and beloved dogs. She treasures time spent with her grown sons and daughter-in-law, enjoys thrifting and selling, and cherishes visits with friends and family in West Texas.
